Regular Season Round 13: Our Saviour - KCCA P. 73-72

The most exciting game of round 13 in the NBL took place in Kampala. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked KCCA P. (4-7) to seventh ranked Our Saviour (4-3) 73-72 on Saturday evening. Our Saviour forced 29 KCCA P. turnovers. Strangely KCCA P. outrebounded Our Saviour 61-48 including 20 on the offensive glass. Power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Malual Dier chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Our Saviour's coach used entire bench in such tough game. At the losing side Salim Kisilu responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and forward Aaron Ojoo scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Five KCCA P. players scored in double figures. Our Saviour have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place. KCCA P. at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Our Saviour's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena UCU Canons.
