Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: Our Saviour (#11) and Kampala R. (#12). Our Saviour (3-3) won against visiting Kampala R. (2-7) 63-51. Our Saviour forced 27 Kampala R. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Malual Dier who scored that evening 14 points and 5 rebounds and Henry Ssebagala supported him with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Our Saviour's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by forward Okumu Emmanuel (-1997) did not help to save the game for Kampala R.. Guard Gideon Kasasa (-1998) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Our Saviour moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Kampala R. stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Our Saviour's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala KCCA P..
