Top ranked JTL Jaguars (7-2) recorded its second loss in Kampala on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by seventh ranked KIU Rangers (4-3) 58-53. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of JTL Jaguars. KIU Rangers forced 23 JTL Jaguars turnovers. Guard Diana Letaru fired 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Ines Kanyamunza chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. KIU Rangers' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international forward Sarah Ageno (176) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Angella Lokwameri added 5 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. KIU Rangers moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Miracle. Newly promoted JTL Jaguars still keep top position with two games lost.
