Regular Season Round 9: Angels - A1 Challenge 70-59

Angels' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after six consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat A1 Challenge (0-6) 70-59 on Saturday. Angels forced 42 A1 Challenge turnovers. Strangely A1 Challenge outrebounded Angels 55-43 including 20 on the offensive glass. Catherine Amugusut (-1983) nailed 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Elizabeth Akol (-1993) accounted for 18 points and 5 steals. Mastullah Namuli came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Sharua Nakirya (-2000) added 15 points respectively for A1 Challenge in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Angels maintains tenth place with 1-6 record. It was A1 Challenge's sixth loss in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost.
