Regular Season Round 7: Magic Stormers - Angels 62-46

Bottom-ranked Angels (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 62-46 loss to fifth ranked Magic Stormers (4-1) in Kampala on Saturday evening. They also forced 32 Angels turnovers. It was a great evening for forward Daphine Adong who led her team to a victory scoring 22 points and 4 steals. Kur Ajah helped adding 16 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side Grace Kwarisiima (-1987) responded with 8 points and 7 rebounds and Catherine Amugusut (-1983) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Magic Stormers moved-up to third place, which they share with JKL Dolphins. Loser Angels still closes the standings with four games lost. Magic Stormers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena .
