The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kampala: City Oilers (#1) and Blazers (#3). City Oilers (9-0) won against visiting Blazers (3-2) 57-51. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Blazers. City Oilers forced 19 Blazers turnovers. It was a good game for swingman Ruai Luak (196-2004) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Micheal Ngut contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Peter Cheng replied with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Rwandan center Micheal Makiadi (-1989) added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Blazers. City Oilers have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 9-0 record. Blazers at the other side keep the third place with two games lost. City Oilers' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Ndejje Angels.
