Regular Season Round 4: Miracle - KCCA Leopards 44-55

No shocking result in a game in Kampala where top-ranked KCCA Leopards (2-0) defeated 10th ranked Miracle (1-2) 55-44 on Sunday. KCCA Leopards held Miracle to an opponent 23.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 23.1 percent accuracy of the winners. KCCA Leopards forced 20 Miracle turnovers and outrebounded them 60-47 including 19 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Martha Soigi (185-1986) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 12 rebounds and forward Ruth Atuheire (-1994) who added 15 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Brenda Alyano responded with 15 points and Susan Amito scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. KCCA Leopards moved-up to third place. Loser Miracle dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. KCCA Leopards' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena UCU Ladies.
