Everything went according to plan in Kampala where fifth ranked UPDF (13-8) outscored bottom-ranked Falcons (0-22) 126-48 on Sunday. UPDF held Falcons to an opponent 22.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.4 percent accuracy of the winners. UPDF forced 37 Falcons turnovers and outrebounded them 70-50 including a 49-34 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Falcons' players. The best player for the winners was swingman David Okello (-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Forward Edrine Walujjo (193-2000) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals. Five UPDF players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Emmanuel Mwesigwa who recorded 8 points and 21 rebounds and Kenneth Mesho added 9 points and 16 rebounds respectively. UPDF maintains fifth position with 13-8 record. Loser Falcons still closes the standings. UPDF's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena UCU Canons.
