Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Kampala: Magic Stormers (#6) and A1 Challenge (#8). Magic Stormers (7-8) won against visiting A1 Challenge (3-13) 54-46. Magic Stormers forced 34 A1 Challenge turnovers and outrebounded them 50-29 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Christine Nakito notched 2 points and 19 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Daphine Adong supported her with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Even 9 points and 11 rebounds by Kekimuli Cathy did not help to save the game for A1 Challenge. Sandra Wangeshi added 8 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Magic Stormers maintains sixth position with 7-8 record. A1 Challenge lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 13 games lost. Magic Stormers' supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala UCU Ladies.
