Regular Season Round 16: Tropical R. - KCCA P. 73-75

A very close game took place in (derby !!!) between KCCA P. and Tropical R.. Seventh ranked KCCA P. (10-8) got a very close victory on the road over 10th ranked Tropical R. (6-12). KCCA P. managed to escape with a 2-point win 75-73 on Wednesday evening. KCCA P. forced 22 Tropical R. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Emmanuel Odongkara (-1989) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and Akok Nyong (-1996) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Allan Nandala responded with 27 points and 9 rebounds and Isaac Katumba scored 9 points and 17 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. KCCA P. moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Tropical R. keeps the tenth position with 12 games lost. KCCA P. will meet at home league's leader City Oilers in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tropical R. will play against Betway Power (#3) and hope to secure a win.
