Very expected game in Kampala where 10th ranked Nkumba LM (1-14) was defeated by third ranked UCU Ladies (12-4) 74-58 on Wednesday. UCU Ladies forced 23 Nkumba LM turnovers and outrebounded them 45-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Bridget Aber (-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds. Forward Millicent Otieno (-1995) chipped in 19 points and 4 steals. UCU Ladies' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Shadia Mbwali (170-2001) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and Regina Ajuma (178-2003) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. UCU Ladies have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with KCCA Leopards. Nkumba LM lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost.
