Everything went according to plan when third ranked Betway Power (13-5) edged on the road 11th ranked Victoria USY (5-14) 75-72 on Sunday. Betway Power forced 21 Victoria USY turnovers. Power forward Isaac Afidra (-1985) notched 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals to lead the effort and guard Innocent Ochera (-1997) supported him with 15 points and 4 assists. Betway Power's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Even a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds by Maker Mayen did not help to save the game for Victoria USY. Mambo Kabuya added 16 points for the hosts. Four Victoria USY players scored in double figures. Betway Power maintains third position with 13-5 record behind leader UCU Canons. Newly promoted Victoria USY keeps the eleventh place with 14 games lost. Betway Power will meet Our Saviour (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Victoria USY will have a break next round.
