Rather predictable result when eighth ranked JKL Dolphins (9-8) won against on the road 10th ranked Tropical R. (6-11) 67-58 on Saturday. JKL Dolphins forced 26 Tropical R. turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when JKL Dolphins made 7 blocks. Mabor Makol notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 24 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the effort and Benfait Manini supported him with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Even 9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by Denis Omara did not help to save the game for Tropical R.. Allan Nandala added 12 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Tropical R.'s coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. JKL Dolphins moved-up to sixth place, which they share with KCCA P. Tropical R. lost fifth consecutive game.
