Regular Season Round 11: Nabisunsa - A1 Challenge 53-55

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked A1 Challenge (3-9) edged their close opponent Nabisunsa (2-11) in Kampala 55-53 on Saturday. A1 Challenge forced 33 Nabisunsa turnovers and outrebounded them 57-41 including 19 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Kekimuli Cathy who led the winners and scored 9 points and 22 rebounds. Guard Yaweh Precious (-1999) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. Guard Patience Karungi came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and forward Tamasha Nsubuga added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Nabisunsa in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. A1 Challenge moved-up to eighth place. Nabisunsa lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost.
