Regular Season Round 11: Our Saviour - Falcons 72-48

There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Falcons (0-14) were outleveled by ninth ranked Our Saviour (6-7) in Kampala 72-48 on Sunday. Our Saviour forced 27 Falcons turnovers and outrebounded them 49-33 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Moses Mugisha (-1984) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Joseph Wacha (-1991) accounted for 17 points, 6 assists and 6 steals for the winning side. Our Saviour's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kenneth Mesho came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds and Emmanuel Ateng added 22 points respectively for Falcons in the defeat. Newly promoted Our Saviour maintains ninth place with 6-7 record. Falcons lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost. Our Saviour's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena UPDF.
