There was a small surprise in Kampala where eighth ranked Nabisunsa (2-8) defeated 5th ranked Magic Stormers (5-5) 53-49 on Saturday. Nabisunsa forced 33 Magic Stormers turnovers. Darlene Tashobya (-2005) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and guard Patience Karungi chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Nabisunsa players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Christine Nakito with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 20 rebounds and forward Daphine Adong scored 10 points. Nabisunsa maintains eighth place with 2-8 record. Magic Stormers lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. Nabisunsa's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala KIU Rangers.
