Regular Season Round 11: KCCA P. - Falcons 71-49

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Falcons (0-14) were smashed on the road by seventh ranked KCCA P. (8-6) 71-49 on Saturday. KCCA P. forced 31 Falcons turnovers and outrebounded them 51-39 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for center Daniel Gaaki (-1992) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Kenyan forward Martin Ouma (195-1999) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. KCCA P.'s coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international swingman Norman Blick (199-1983) came up with 7 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Jurua Vinnie added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Falcons in the defeat. KCCA P. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with UPDF. Falcons lost their fourteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 14 games lost. KCCA P. will meet Our Saviour (#9) in the next round. Falcons will play against Betway Power (#3) and hope to get finally their first victory.
