Regular Season Round 11: Ndejje Angels - Betway Power 62-71

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Betway Power (10-3) beat 11th ranked Ndejje Angels (3-10) in Kampala 71-62 on Friday. Betway Power forced 29 Ndejje Angels turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Geoffrey Soro (198-1992) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Innocent Ochera (-1997) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Hassan Sentamu came up with 20 points and 6 steals and power forward Cikom Monybai added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Ndejje Angels in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Betway Power. They maintain third place with 10-3 record having five points less than leader City Oilers. Ndejje Angels lost their ninth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with ten games lost. Betway Power will meet at home bottom-ranked Falcons (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ndejje Angels will have a break next round.
