Regular Season Round 8: Nabisunsa - JKL Dolphins 64-80

Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Kampala: JKL Dolphins (#1) and Nabisunsa (#8). Nabisunsa was crushed at home by 16 points 64-80 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. JKL Dolphins forced 28 Nabisunsa turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international guard Brenda Ekone (152-1996) who led her team to a victory scoring 37 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. Guard Evelyn Nakiyinji (-1998) helped adding 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Patience Karungi responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Sarah Namale (-2005) scored 9 points and 15 rebounds. Nabisunsa's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. JKL Dolphins (9-0) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row. Nabisunsa lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with eight games lost. They share it with A1 Challenge and Nkumba LM.
