Bottom-ranked Nkumba LM (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 50-30 loss to fourth ranked KCCA Leopards (6-2) in Kampala. They held Nkumba LM to an opponent 17.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 24.4 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a good game for guard Leanne Nalunkuma (-1990) who led her team to a victory with 13 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Judith Nansobya (170-1986) contributed with 15 points for the winners. KCCA Leopards' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Catherine Nakimuli (-1998) answered with 7 points and 20 rebounds and forward Shadia Mbwali (170-2001) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Nkumba LM. KCCA Leopards moved-up to third place, which they share with UCU Ladies. Nkumba LM lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost.
