Very expected game when 8th ranked Tropical R. (5-7) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Blazers (8-4) 76-65 on Saturday. Blazers forced 32 Tropical R. turnovers. DR Congolese center Amisi Saidi (200-1987) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Kenyan guard Collins Kasujja (183-1994) chipped in 19 points and 5 steals. Denis Omara produced 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Allan Nandala added 20 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Blazers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Newly promoted Tropical R. dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost.
