Everything went according to plan when third ranked City Oilers (7-2) outleveled on the road 9th ranked Tropical R. (4-6) 95-55 on Sunday. City Oilers forced 31 Tropical R. turnovers and outrebounded them 65-34 including a 27-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. City Oilers looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Tropical R.'s players. It was a great evening for Drileba Tonny who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 9 rebounds. Okello James helped adding 11 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Five City Oilers players scored in double figures. At the losing side Duallo Joshua responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Allan Nandala scored 13 points. Tropical R.'s coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains third place with 7-2 record having five points less than leader UCU Canons. Newly promoted Tropical R. keeps the ninth position with six games lost. City Oilers' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Ndejje Angels.
