Regular Season Round 7: Betway Power - Ndejje Angels 69-67

There was no surprise when 11th ranked Ndejje Angels (3-5) were edged on the road by third ranked Betway Power (8-3) 69-67 on Sunday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Betway Power forced 27 Ndejje Angels turnovers. It was a great evening for power forward Isaac Afidra (-1985) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Innocent Ochera (-1997) helped adding 19 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side guard Livingstone Kimambo (188-2000) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and power forward Cikom Monybai scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Ndejje Angels' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Betway Power have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Ndejje Angels lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with five games lost. Betway Power will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ndejje Angels' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena City Oilers.
