An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kampala. First ranked UCU Canons faced 4th placed Blazers. Host UCU Canons (10-1) defeated guests from (5-4) 66-62. UCU Canons forced 22 Blazers turnovers and outrebounded them 51-39 including 37 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for center Peter Sifuma (-1996) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Jerry Kayanga (-1997) helped adding 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Four UCU Canons players scored in double figures. At the losing side Chuol Nyuot responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Joseph Ikong (193-1985) scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. UCU Canons have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-1 record. Loser Blazers keep the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with UPDF. UCU Canons' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala .
