Not a big story in a game in Kampala where bottom-ranked Falcons (0-7) were defeated by sixth ranked JKL Dolphins (4-4) 63-48 on Saturday. JKL Dolphins forced 31 Falcons turnovers and outrebounded them 51-39 including a 27-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was forward Derrick Katumba (194-1993) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Swingman Brian Namake (-1990) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Four JKL Dolphins players scored in double figures. JKL Dolphins' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international power forward Brian Ssentongo (203-1987) who recorded 5 points and 16 rebounds and swingman Henrison Mbaziira added 15 points respectively. JKL Dolphins maintains sixth position with 4-4 record, which they share with UPDF. Loser Falcons still closes the standings with seven games lost.
