Regular Season Round 5: A1 Challenge - Nkumba LM 60-36

A1 Challenge has registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Nkumba LM (0-6) 60-36 on Saturday. A1 Challenge forced 21 Nkumba LM turnovers and outrebounded them 45-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Sharua Nakirya (-2000) who scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Sandra Wangeshi chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds. A1 Challenge's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Catherine Nakimuli (-1998) produced 1 points and 9 rebounds and center Jesca Nakamanya (-1993) added 10 points respectively for the guests. A1 Challenge (1-5) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Nabisunsa. It was Nkumba LM's sixth loss in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost.
