There was no surprise when 9th ranked Tropical R. (2-4) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Betway Power (4-1) 90-78 on Sunday. Betway Power forced 24 Tropical R. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Soro Geoffrey fired 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Isaac Afidra chipped in 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Denis Omara produced 21 points and Duallo Joshua added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Betway Power and four Tropical R. players scored in double figures. Tropical R.'s coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Betway Power moved-up to second place. Newly promoted Tropical R. dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Betway Power will meet UPDF (#6) in the next round. Tropical R. will have a break next round.
