There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Blazers (3-2) were defeated at home by eighth ranked JKL Dolphins (3-2) 62-57 on Sunday. JKL Dolphins forced 24 Blazers turnovers. Swingman Brian Namake (-1990) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Malual Dier chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Kenyan guard Collins Kasujja (183-1994) produced 9 points and 9 rebounds and Chuol Nyuot added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Blazers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. JKL Dolphins moved-up to fifth place, which they share with UPDF and Blazers. JKL Dolphins will meet at home KCCA P. (#11) in the next round where they are favorite. Blazers will have a break next round.
