AS Douanes closed the 2024 BAL Playoffs with the win over Rivers Hoopers. The Senegalese team posted a 63-57 win in Kigali. AS Douanes opened the game with a 22-9 run and led 14 points at the halftime. Moreover they added a 13-5 rally in the third quarter, whilst Rivers Hoopers erupted with a massive 29-13 surge at the end to lose the game by 6.
Harouna Abdoulaye (196-G-1992, college: Miami, OH) led the way with 16 points and Madut Akec (201-F-1999, college: Detroit) netted 13. David Ike (211-C/F-2007) ended up with 11 points in the losing effort.
