Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Luanda: P.Luanda (#1) and 1 De Agosto (#4). P.Luanda (8-0) won against visiting 1 De Agosto (6-3) 93-81. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of 1 De Agosto. P.Luanda forced 25 1 De Agosto turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by 1 De Agosto's players. The best player for the winners was international forward Aboubacar Gakou (201-1997) who scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. The former international center Yanick Moreira (208-1991, college: SMU) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Eliseu Joao produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the guests. 1 De Agosto's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Undefeated P.Luanda have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-0 record. 1 De Agosto at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. P.Luanda are looking forward to face Vila Clotilde (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. 1 De Agosto's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Luanda to the arena ASA.
Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Luanda: CPPL (#8) and Sporting L. B (#4). CPPL (3-0) smashed visiting Sporting L. B (5-5) by 25 points 91-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sporting L. B. Valdemar Joao orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 4 steals. Joao Oliveira contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Guard Joao Cardoso (-2004) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for Sporting L. B. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CPPL have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Newly promoted Sporting L. B dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. CPPL will play against Benguela (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sporting L. B will have a break next round.
Undefeated leader P.Luanda delivered the eighth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked ASA (2-5) 112-45. Worth to mention a quality performance of Eduardo Simao who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Elizeu Ventura responded with 16 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated P.Luanda (8-0) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Loser ASA keeps the ninth place with five games lost. They share the position with Interclube B and Vila Clotilde B. P.Luanda will meet Vila Clotilde (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. ASA's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Luanda 1 De Agosto.

Rest of the games of round 8 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
