Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Luanda: CPPL (#8) and Sporting L. B (#4). CPPL (3-0) smashed visiting Sporting L. B (5-5) by 25 points 91-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sporting L. B. Valdemar Joao orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 4 steals. Joao Oliveira contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Guard Joao Cardoso (-2004) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for Sporting L. B. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CPPL have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place. Newly promoted Sporting L. B dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. CPPL will play against Benguela (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sporting L. B will have a break next round.

Worth to mention a quality performance of Eduardo Simao who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Elizeu Ventura responded with 16 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated P.Luanda (8-0) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Loser ASA keeps the ninth place with five games lost. They share the position with Interclube B and Vila Clotilde B. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Josue Bartolomeu (198-2000) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds and guard Joao Cardoso (-2004) who added 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Nelson Nequeta responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Genilson Lucombo scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sporting L. B have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory Sporting L. B went down to fifth position due to points difference. Loser Benguela dropped to the fourteenth place with three games lost. Sporting L.
