D1 Round 9 (Regular Season): Leader AGSC gets another victory

The round 9 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Undefeated leader AGSC delivered the ninth consecutive win on Friday night. This time they crushed 14th ranked RCB (1-8) 79-30. Undefeated AGSC (9-0) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row, which they share with USMA. RCB lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. They share it with CRAM. AGSC is looking forward to face HDM (#4) in the next round. RCB will play against MCA (#5) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked MCA (7-2) played at the court of 7th ranked USAB (3-6). MCA smashed USAB 65-34. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for MCA. They maintain fourth place with 7-2 record, which they share with HDM. USAB lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with NBS and RCBBA. MCA will play against bottom-ranked RCB (#14) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. USAB will play against FSS (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Other games of round 9 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
MTS crushed CRAM in Setif 74-34. RCBBA beat EEIA at home 46-38. FSS lost to WRAB on the opponent's court 50-55. HDM managed to outperform JFK in a home game 49-44. NBS lost to undefeated USMA on the road 50-73.

CRAM - MTS 34-74

There was no surprise when 13th ranked CRAM (1-8) was crushed at home by third ranked MTS (8-1) 74-34. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for MTS. They maintain third place with 8-1 record behind leader AGSC. CRAM lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with eight games lost. They share it with RCB. MTS will play against league's second-placed USMA in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. CRAM will play against JFK (#6) to get more than just one victory in their record.

RCBBA - EEIA 46-38

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked RCBBA and 11th ranked EEIA had identical 2-6 record. This time RCBBA used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from 46-38. RCBBA (3-6) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with NBS and USAB. EEIA lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with WRAB and FSS. RCBBA will play against WRAB (#11) in the next round. EEIA will play against NBS and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
