Kocidar signs OLIVIA EPOUPA for the arab tournament

GS Kocidar (D1) signed 31-year-old French ex-international 165cm point guard Olivia Epoupa for the new season. She is the second import player on the team, joining Egyptian Asrar Bakr. Epoupa most recently played for Ormanspor in the Turkish KBSL, where she averaged 4.0ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.4apg, and 2.0spg in 10 games last season.

She was also a member of the French international program for some years. She played for French Senior National Team between 2014 and 2022 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2014.

Epoupa is a very experienced player, having played in five different countries on three different continents during her career. She has experience in European, Australian, and North American leagues. Epoupa has played for teams in Australia (Canberra Capitals), Hungary (Sopron), Turkey (Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Mersin), WNBA (Minnesota Lynx and Phoenix Mercury), and France (Tarbes, Villeneuve, Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration, Centre Federal BB Paris, and Toulouse).

Between 2022 and 2024, her team won the WNBA Commissioner's Cup. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-French League Honorable Mention during 2022.
