Algeria earned victory in their final game at the 2013 AfroBasket. They held off Zimbabwe to earn the 11th overall position. Wahiba Aissani (170-F-79) posted 24 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge.
Algeria eked out an 18:16 lead after ten minutes of action. They maintained the lead throughout the second frame. Algeria secured a 34:28 halftime advantage. Algeria dropped 24 points in the third term to open a comfortable 14-point advantage before the fourth frame. They did not loosen the grasp in the final period and sealed the winning outcome. Rachida Belaidi (79) chipped in 12 points, while Ikbal Chenaf (93) added 10 points in the win. Sharon Chamwarura (SG-93) answered with 17 points for Zimbabwe. Cleopatra Manda (SG-86) had 11 points in the defeat.
