Minty Oka, 16-year old forward was voted the Most Valuable Player at the FIBA Under 16 AfroBasket. He received multiple other awards, was selected as the Best Forward and was chosen to the First Team. Oka's court vision propelled him to the fourth spot in points per game an outstanding average of over 16 and fifth position in rebounds per game, averaging 11. He has totalled 2 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 3 games at the event. Oka's 26 points against Sierra Leone were the most he scored at the tournament.
Nolan Ngangmeni, 16-year old point guard was honored as the Best Guard of FIBA Under 16 AfroBasket. He was also named to the First Team. Ngangmeni's masterful distribution skills earned him the fifth spot in points per game with an impressive average of over 16. He also averaged almost 7 rebounds per game during the event. Ngangmeni's 23 points against Mali were the most he scored at the tournament.
Irene Ouedraogo, 14-year old center earned the Best Center at the FIBA Under 16 AfroBasket. He also earned a spot in the First Team. Ouedraogo's court vision was unparalleled as he secured the fourth spot in rebounds per game, delivering an average of 12. He also registered almost 11 points per game at the event. Ouedraogo had double-doubles in 3 games during the event. His 14 points against Egypt were the most he scored at the tournament.
Olivier Ngoumou, power forward was voted to the First Team of FIBA Under 16 AfroBasket. He was also selected to the Second Team. Ngoumou recorded almost 9 points per game at the event. He led the African Championships Under 16 in rebounds per game with over 13. Ngoumou logged double-doubles in 3 games during the event. His 12 points against Guinea were the most he scored at the tournament.
Bakary Ballo, guard was chosen to the First Team at the FIBA Under 16 AfroBasket. He averaged over 15 points and 3 assists per game at the event. Ballo's 23 points against Egypt were the most he scored at the tournament.
