Mali and Egypt advance into Final in Cairo

Mali - Chad 70-40
Mali rolled over Chad to secure the championship game berth in Cairo. Mali dominated from start to finish in this one. They established a 19-5 lead after ten minutes. Mali extended the lead to 32 points at the big break 41-9. Chad slowed their opponents down in the second half but could not threaten the margin as Mali marched to the win. Ladji Coulibaly (06) finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Tiemoko Diallo (05) added 11 points for Mali. Mbafe Abdel-Kerim (05) responded with 17 points for Chad.

Egypt - Algeria 70-52
Egypt rallied past Algeria to secure the championship game berth. Egypt recorded a 37-25 halftime lead. Egypt then went on a 21-10 run in the fourth period to ice the victory. Karim Elgizawy (188-G-05) produced 11 points for the hosts. Zakariya Khodja (182-G-05) answered with 18 points for Algeria.
