Gabon - Chad 56-70
Chad celebrated the second straight win at the championship. They rallied past Gabon for 2-0 record. Chad used a strong 24-4 run in the second period to take a comfortable 24-point lead. Gabon cut the deficit in the second half but could not recover. Mahamat Tahir (06) posted 21 points and 32 rebounds, while Moksia Lawa (05) added 14 points in the victory. Darcy Makambo (180-G-06) answered with 14 points for Gabon.
Uganda - Algeria 30-69
Algeria stormed past Uganda to improve at 2-1 record. Algeria held their opponents to just 3 points in the first quarter to take a 10-point lead. Algeria then followed with a strong 45-15 second half run to seal the win. Adam Bouzidi (180-G-05) notched 19 points, while Yacine Menaceur (180-G-05) added 14 points for Algeria. Emmanuel Omara (05) answered with 11 points and 9 rebounds for Uganda.
Mali - Ivory Coast 93-59
Mali claimed the third consecutive win in Cairo. They rallied past Ivory Coast to stay undefeated. Mali recorded a comfortable 54-30 halftime lead. They held off Ivory Coast in the second half and raced to the victory. Ibrahim Doumbia (06) posted 22 points, while Tiemoko Diallo (05) added 16 points in the victory. Dominique Diomande (197-F-05) responded with 29 points and 13 rebounds for Ivory Coast.
