Egypt and Mali enter championship game in Mauritius

Egypt - Tunisia 86-45
Egypt cruised past Tunisia to make it into Final. Omar Morsy (01) stepped up with 18 points to lead the effort. Egypt grabbed a 24:7 lead after ten minutes. They followed with a 27:6 rally in the third term to clear off for good. Aly Khalifa (201-F-01) notched 10 points in the victory. Mohamed Zaghouani (02) responded with 18 points and 10 rebounds for Tunisia.

Mali - Algeria 72-62
Mali topped Algeria to advance into the title game in Mauritius. Siriman Kanoute (01) delivered 19 points to lead the winning side. Mali accounted for 34:25 halftime lead. They extended the margin at 17-point mark heading into the fourth frame and never looked back en route to the win. Oumar Ballo (204-C-02) posted 14 points and 19 rebounds in the victory. Ouail Gadaoui (01) responded with 17 points for Algeria.

Mauritius - Madagascar 13-125
Madagascar knocked down Mauritius in the classification clash today. Marco Rakotovao (01) came up with 33 points to lead the visitors. Madagascar claimed a 63:5 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Olivier Jaoravo (01) chipped in 26 points for the winning side. Jean Perrine (01) responded with 4 points for Mauritius.

Rwanda - Mozambique 67-33
Rwanda outgunned Mozambique in the classification round. Thierry Nkundwa (01) posted 22 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Rwanda grabbed a 29:15 halftime lead. They dropped 38 points in the second half to seal the victory. Brown Murengezi (01) had 17 points and 10 rebounds in the win. Ndzengo Buvana (01) responded with 8 points for Mozambique.
