Bambale Osby
Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (ProB) signed 29-year old American (has also Congolese passport) center Bambale Osby (203-113kg-86, college: Maryland, agency: Octagon Europe). It is actually his comeback to Aix-Maurienne as he played here before. Osby moved there from Socar Petkim in Turkish TB2L where he played this season. In 33 games he had very impressive stats: 18.8ppg, 9.8rpg and 1.3apg. The last season he played at BC Siauliai (LKL) in Lithuanian league. In 11 games he recorded 8.1ppg and 4.7rpg. Osby also played 4 games in Baltic League where he recorded 8.8ppg, 6.3rpg and 1.0bpg. He also played at Kolossos (A1) in Greek league earlier that season. In 13 games he recorded 10.8ppg and 4.7rpg.
The previous (12-13) season Osby played at Entente Orleans 45 (ProA). In 7 games he recorded 8.4ppg and 2.7rpg in 2012-13 season. He also played 3 games in Eurocup where he recorded 9.0ppg and 2.3rpg in 2012-13 season.
In 11-12 season Osby played at Aix-Maurienne. In 37 games he recorded 14.8ppg, 9.4rpg (#5 in the league), 1.2apg and 1.5bpg in 2011-12 season. Quite impressive year as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-French ProB 3rd Team.
In the summer of 2011 he played at Vaqueros (BSN) in Puerto Rican league. In four games he recorded 10.3ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.3apg and 1.0bpg in 2011 season.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Osby won Baltic League championship title in 2014. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Estonian League Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Estonian League Import Player of the Year back in 2011.
Osby is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Austria (Gmunden Swans), Germany (Phoenix Hagen), Israel (Ironi Ramat Gan), Romania (U-Banca Transilvania Cluj and Pitesti) and Estonia (TTU Korvpalliklubi Tallinn).
Osby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
He attended University of Maryland until 2008 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.

Union Sportive Monastir picked up their second win at the 2017 FIBA Africa Champions Cup after overcoming ASB Mazembe 91-67 on Tuesday.
