Titleholders ES Rades Saturday beat ES Monastir (75-64) at day-1 game of Tunisia's Basketball Championship final phase. Three victories are needed to win the championship. The latter had a 47-44 lead, while Agosto managed to pull a 68-60 advantage after three quarters. Eduardo Mingas (200-F/C-79) top-scored for the winners with 24 points and Emmanuel Quezada (188-PG-85, college: USF) notched 18. Earlier in the semifinals Agosto beat Petroleo Luanda 94-83.

Riga Ghetto (LAT) won their first Masters after defeating world No.1 Liman (SRB) 15-14 in a tense final of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Doha Masters on April 18-19, 2019. In a spectacular start to the season, it was a hard-fought, low-scoring game but the world No.3 finally tasted glory and were brilliantly led by Karlis Pauls Lasmanis (200-G-94) who scored an equal game-high 8 points. He hit clutch buckets and deservedly claimed the MVP after leading all scorers with 39 points in the tourname...
