Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala:Magic S. (#6) and Tomahawks (#7). Magic S. (10-9) won against visiting Tomahawks (7-10) 62-47 . Magic S. forced 26 Tomahawks turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for forward Daphine Adong who led the winners and scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Kenyan forward Joy Mupalia accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Dorah Nakijjoba came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and Ruth Letaru (-1997) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Tomahawks in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Magic S. moved-up to fifth place. Tomahawks at the other side dropped to the eighth position with ten games lost.
