Bottom-rankedGSMRR (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked Azomco (2-3) 64-42 on Saturday evening. Azomco forced 35 GSMRR turnovers. Strangely GSMRR outrebounded Azomco 59-38 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Ange Uwiringiyimana fired 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Center Josephine Uwineza chipped in 5 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Janviere Byukusenge produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 21 rebounds and Rachel Gikundiro (169-2006) added 17 points and 13 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Azomco moved-up to fifth place. GSMRR lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost.
