There was a surprise result in Cairo where fourteenth rankedAl Gezira (2-5) edged higher ranked Heliopolis (4-4) 73-70 on Tuesday. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Radwa Sherif (184-1998) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Kenzy Khorshed (170-2005) who added 14 points and 4 assists during the contest. The former international guard Alia El Shabrawy (160-2001) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the former international forward Aya Elfiky (179-2003) scored 8 points and 15 rebounds. Al Gezira moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Olympic. Loser Heliopolis keep the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Shooting.
