JBC make history, head to Elite 16 Division East

JBC made history by becoming the first team from their country to qualify for the BAL Elite 16 Division East. The team from Zimbabwe overcame Munali Suns 87-50 to win Group D. JBC started the game with a 22-10 run and never looked behind. They added a 20-9 rally in the second period and posted two more victories in the second half.
Tashinga Chiimba top-scored for the winners with 17 points, whilst Dyvonne Pfachi (G/F-1995) and Innocent Zhomwa (194-F-1999) notched 16 each. Alfred Hollins (198-F-1999, college: UTEP) replied with 10 points in the losing effort.
