2023 AfroCan Qualifiers: Zimbabwe topple Zambia

Zimbabwe - Zambia 71-53

Zimbabwe rallied past Zambia in Group A of 2023 AfroCan Qualifiers in Bulawayo. The winners improved at 2-1 record atop of the ladder with the win. Tawanda Tswatswa (SG) posted 17 points to lead the charge.
Zimbabwe stayed solid defensive throughout the first half. They held Zambia to just 23 points in the first two periods to take a 9-point lead. Zimbabwe went on a 23-13 run in the third quarter to clear off for good. Dyvonne Pfachi (SF-1995) scored 14 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in the victory. Chipo Musongo and Douglas Kandulu (220-C-1996) had 12 points each for Zambia.
