Zimbabwe edged Zambia in Bulawayo and improved to a 1-1 mark after beating Zambia. Zambia meanwhile dropped to 0-2.
Tatenda Maturure (G/F-98) top-scored for the winners with 23 points and Tawanda Chitsinde (186-PG-88) notched 15. Chongo Chona (G/F-91) replied with 11 points in a loss and Titus Njovu (90) as well as Paul Kashishi (G/F-93) had 9 each. The winner of this qualifier will advance to the Final Round of the AfroBasket 2021 Qualifiers, where they will complete Group A.
