The 2019 Basketball Union of Zimbabwe Qualifiers will be held on the weekend of the 19th to the 21st of April 2019. This year the championships have been split into 2, Zone 1 and Zone 2. Zone 1 will be represented by teams from Harare, Mashonaland Provinces and Manicaland. Zone 2 will be represented by teams from Bulawayo, Masvingo, Matabeleland Provinces and the Midlands. The Finals will then be held from the 3rd to the 5th of May 2019 in Mutare.

The top 8 teams from the Zone 1 qualifiers and the top 4 from the Zone 2 qualifiers will then have the honor to battle it out in Mutare to be crowned Zimbabwe's National Basketball Champions. These National Championships will also be used as a stage to select the Senior National teams that will represent Zimbabwe at the upcoming Afrobasket Qualifiers later this year.

Last year, Foxes from Harare won the National title in the Men's division while Harare City were the victorious team in the Women's section. This year we wait to see who will be crowned Zimbabwe's champions.
