Nets record first loss.

After waiting for the game for two months, the Nets lost to Shells 80-104 on Saturday 1st August 2009 at the National Sports Development Center. The game started off well with Tara Nyikavaranda dropping the first basket. The Nets were composed in first quarter of the game but the Shells were unstoppable. The Nets could not keep up with the speed the shells had worse when Coach Allan Shawa switched to a man-to-man defense in the third quarter. With the crowed on their side Shells maintained a ten point led until the last 4 min of the game when the Nets defense finally slipped in which the game finished with a final score of 80-104.
In the second quarter of the league the Nets first face young Rim Oilers on the 8the of August 2009 at the National Sports Development Center.
