Nets win ZBA opening tournament.

The 2008 female National Champions Nets Beat Green Buffaloes with a score line of 62-71 at the just ended Zambia Basketball Association opening tournament. With only eight players on the team the Nets also managed to win LCC Lootresses by 12 points at the same time receiving great help from visiting player Laura Odimba from team Limpopo of Congo DRC. The Games took place during the Easter Holiday also attracted other female teams participating like Rim Oilers of Munali respectively.

On the mens side Nkosi Heroes, Green Eagles, NAPSA hurricanes, green Buffaloes and LCC Looters also took part in the tournament. The games went thought Sunday with Green buffaloes winning NAPSA by over 20 points in the final game.

The Zambia Basketball Association league opens on the 18th of April 2009.
