There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in NBL. There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with derby games and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Eighth-ranked KCCA Lions (3-8) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked KIU Titans (8-3) in Kampala on Sunday. KIU Titans managed to secure only two-point victory 57-55. However their fans expected much easier game. KIU Titans forced 19 KCCA Lions turnovers. DR Congolese guard Micheal Bwanga fired 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. DR Congolese forward Denis Balungu (-95) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Power forward Francis Mbuyi produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. KCCA Lions' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KIU Titans moved-up to third place, which they share with City Oilers. KCCA Lions lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. KIU Titans will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. KCCA Lions' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kampala Our Saviour.
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala: JKL Dolphins (#5) and Warriors (#2). Warriors were defeated at home 64-71 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Warriors. Worth to mention a great performance of center Daniel Monoja (197-93) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 8 rebounds. Ivan Lumanyika contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. JKL Dolphins' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Chris Omanye (183-94) replied with 19 points (made all of his eight free throws) for Warriors. JKL Dolphins maintains fifth position with 7-3 record. Warriors at the other side keep the second place with two games lost. JKL Dolphins will play against Sharing Youth (#8) in the next round. Warriors will play against Ndejje Angels (#7) and hope to get back on the winning track.

Tyron Martin scored 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Michael Kojo responded with 11 points and 6 rebounds. UCU Canons (10-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Falcons lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Kampala. UCU Canons will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Falcons' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kampala to the arena Kampala.

In the last two games of round 10 KCCA Lions were defeated by Sharing Youth in a road game 63-48. Betway Power smashed Ndejje Angels at home 73-51.

Warriors - Our Saviour 88-40

Bottom-ranked Our Saviour (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-40 loss to second ranked Warriors (9-2) in Kampala on Sunday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Warriors dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Our Saviour's 30 and had 20 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Our Saviour only scored four points from the stripe. Warriors forced 21 Our Saviour turnovers and outrebounded them 49-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. Our Saviour was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Mark Opiyo (-90) fired 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Samad Imran (-93) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds. Five Warriors players scored in double figures. Nathan Olonya produced 10 points and 6 rebounds and guard Davis Assimwe added 4 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Warriors have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-2 record behind leader UCU Canons. Loser Our Saviour still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Warriors will face Ndejje Angels (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked KCCA Lions (3-8) were defeated on the road by ninth ranked Sharing Youth (3-7) 63-48 on Monday. Sharing Youth forced 21 KCCA Lions turnovers. KCCA Lions were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Caesar Kizito (-88) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Amilcar Ndemesha chipped in 14 points. Sharing Youth's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Francis Mbuyi (C/F) had an amazing evening in the last round for KCCA Lions and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 11.
