JKL Dolphins forced 24 Pemba Warriors turnovers. Swingman Brian Namake (-90) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and international center Ivan Lumanyika (205-92) chipped in 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side DR Congolese power forward Amisi Saidi (-87) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds and guard Mark Opiyo (-90) scored 8 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game.

Betway Power dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Ndejje Angels' 30. Center Phillip Ameny (-89) nailed 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side and power forward Geofrey Soro (-92) accounted for 12 points. Power forward Peter Sefuma came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and guard Innocent Ochera (-97) added 8 points respectively for Ndejje Angels in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Sudanese forward Wian Ater (-95) answered with 19 points and center Derrick Isiko (-97) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for UCU Canons. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
